You will still get the vibration and sound but the screen won't up come up.
This feature is for selected iphone's device ,the "Facedown detection" doesn't work on iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and other older iPhone device which includes the iPad and iPod touch but works on iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus.
The facedown detection uses the motion coprocessor to get it running ,but in other to disable this feature on your iPhone, head to :
1. Settings
2. Privacy

Doing this will make the feature stop working and the iPhone screen display will turn even when the phone is turn down.
The feature is made along side the Low Power Mode in ISO 9 to enable iPhone users save battery power, and it can only work if you know this tip and decide to turn your iPhone face down.
